Does anyone know of a free & skinnable desktop clock?

    In the mean time...
I my search for a Free Desktop Clock, I came across a program with exactly that name. I was actually looking for a desktop clock like the clock widget in Windows 7 - but not a widget. This program skins the clock in the notification area and it was a pleasant surprise. It's ideal for anyone with vision problems, and includes 9 skins.

    Hi Eldon

What Windows version are you using? will help in finding a desktop 3rd party clock, plus what do you want it to do or look like.

    Suggestion ClockX

Your second image is a nice clock if taskbar based.

I've been using Digiwatch since my XP days.

You can set alarms to ring to your music, if you wish.

12 or 24 hour preference and seconds to make sure you are exactly correct.

Make sure to select "custom" and decline any other crap it wants to install, i.e

    search engines, home page, etc.

Sits on desktop and you can move it anywhere.

Warning be careful downloading anything from CNet. They are notorious for adding unwanted garbage to the downloads.

Thanks DavidGP. I going to give ClockX a try.

I'm using Windows XP Professional SP3, and Windows 7 Ultimate - the latter is my primary OS.

I need a portable desktop clock that is skinnable - I want to use any image for the clock face (dial), and I want to share it with other computer users - legally.

The taskbar clock (Free Desktop Clock) is great. I don't have to scroll down to see what time it is in Florida. MGT = GMT -5 :major
