todo partition master 10.5...

hi
with this tool i want to be able to partition my disk of 1000gb:

as you see i've, before the c\part some space,
i'd like to resize the 300mb used 240.02 in order to be able to have more than 30pct of unused space, as diskeeper sugget..,
but i'm only able to reduce this 300mb..not to enlarge them..
probably because the nex part is in fat32..??

Do you think we are clairvoyant? No one can advise on repartitioning without first seeing a picture of your present situation. You can do that by running Windows Disk Management and capturing a screenshot with Windows Snipping Tool.

Thanks. The 300MB partition is such a tiny proportion of your 1TB disk that there is absolutely nothing to be gained by resizing it. You can safely ignore the utterly useless recommendation by Diskeeper. In any case, according to Disk Management the partition is not even being used, though on an MBR disk in 8.1 it would normally be the System Reserved partition and contain the 8.1 boot files.

I may not be able to advise further as I have so far avoided using GPT disks.

What I am trying to say is that there will not be any benefit of any kind from increasing the size of this tiny 300MB partition. I know Diskeeper is advising you to do so but that 30% free space guideline really only applies to partitions containing an operating system. I believe this particular partition contains only the Windows boot files and the code required to run Bitlocker, if you use it. It has no impact at all on how well your Windows performs and should be left as it is.
