What do those icons at the bottom left of the Windows 8.1 password screen mean?

I was typing in my password when I found I'd accidentally moved the mouse pointer down to the bottom left, and I'm not sure whether I clicked one of those icons? What do they mean?

If you line your mouse over them, it should tell you. I never used 8 much to tell you exactly. Also, you might use a smaller image or maybe delete it as your email is right there :)

The round circle is windows 7 version of ease of access like magnifier, on screen keyboard etc. and the icon next to it is your internet connection icon.

the others on the right are your keyboard language and your shut down button.

Thanks. Don't worry, that's not my email. I assume it doesn't actually belong to anyone, as I got the image from this link.

    Thanks.

Thanks. And no, I'm on wireless like you.

One more question. I noticed, at the far right of the password box, not in that image but on my own screen (the image is just a sample screen I got online), there's an icon of a dot with a little semicircle above it. Kind of looks like the bottom of the wi-fi symbol you'd see on an iPhone. Does anyone know what that means?

The dot with a semi circle symbol if you click on that you will get your password showing instead of being stars. The symbol is a eye.

Just an fyi...clicking on them will show you what they are. It won't hurt anything.

    Thanks.

Thanks, but I'm always afraid to click on something unless I know what it is, in case I **** something up.

You mess anything up by clicking on them or just hover your mouse over the icon, but if you do click on ease of access icon and change something just make sure you change it back, otherwise it will load up every startup (ie. On screen keyboard).
