Error 42125 Zip Archive Is Corrupted Win32:evo-gen [susp]

    I ran a boot scan in Avast but it did not find or correct the above error. What should I do to remove it?

    What is the name of the ZIP file and where is it located? This could be a false detection. But if you don't need the ZIP file you can just delete it.

    Actually, it's about 50 different zip files. Some have only .mp3s.

    Attached is today's scan log. Scroll through to today's report.

    I'm hopeful that a utility like Zipfix.exe will repair these files but, due to the vast number of files, I'm hoping to find a batch utility to fix them all in one sweep.

    Corrupted ZIP files are not malware problems. And they may not even be corrupted. It could just be that Avast does not understand the compression algorithm that was used. Either it is not a malware problem.
