Why Not Faster Loading Internet Pages?

I go to http://www.cracked.com/photoplasty a LOT
and the pages are fun and filled with pics and text
and take forever to load!

why?
is it my computer?
I use CC cleaner before i browse the web
I have windows 7 home premim 64-bit SP1
AMD FX-4130 quad-core processor *8 GB ram \760G

now i do like to have 5-10 windows open....which is likely the issue
but how can I have 5+ windows open and more speed tobrowse internet?
can I get an extra computer to attach to my computer via USB port or something?

or should I just build a new computer with better stuff?
(if so , I'm gonna ask wtf to build)

I think I did manage to turn off autoplay of videos that are sometime sin ADS on the pages

The problem is all the crap the page is running. All the scripts, ads, videos, and in total all the garbage that automatically loads when the page does. There are sites I've simply stopped visiting because I'm simply weary of the aggressive design.

 

yes, things got faster when I turned off autoplay of video that are in ads and other areas, but the site still loads slowly
so I go there less frequently...too bad, it is a funny/interesting site that actually has useful information

is a great site, Ijust thought maybe the rate limit was my computer
