Planning On New Speakers But...

I dunno which ones to get. Right now I'm hoping for usb speakers with a quality level and similar sound output (albeit quieter) to that of an optical speaker; specifically a soundbar. But I don't want something big and clunky. If at all possible i'd like the usb speakers to be able to produce the same sound as a soundbar. A few songs played through the soundbar sound way more epic than they are played through my current usb speakers.

On a sidenote if it exists is there an hdmi moniter with external speakers that come with it but aren't built in? As it stands all moniters that I've seen with built in speakers have poor sound. This is more or less for my music and gaming, but I don't want to pay too much for something I could've gotten much cheaper.

 

If you want clear sound, forget USB, nothing beats optical.
I went big and clunky with a JBL TV sound bar. It was on a blowout sale and was cheaper than the Bose or Logitech high end systems. Sounds better too, but I did lose surround sound which never really worked for me.

My usb speakers have clear sound but the things is they lack the bass capabilities of my soundbar.

 

FYI I play my PC through an old Hi-Fi. Plenty of bass & loudness.
Back in 1980 it cost the equivalent of $20.
