What 2016 Resolution Did You Make... Or Break Already.

    I have a theory that if a desk is clear no work is going on.
    I did not make any resolutions so no worry about breaking them. I just try to do a few things better than I have in the past.

    I'll have to take a pic of my works desk when back in tomorrow as its near spotless, not that I can find much as thats all thrown in a filing cabinate!
    Not broken any yet as not been back to work and thats to say NO more often and slow down and not take on too much.

    I said I wasn't going to do a New Years Resolution, but ended up starting a no wine resolution for the month of January after too much wine on New Years Eve. So, I suppose you could say I broke my no resolutions resolution. ;) It's on Jan. 3, and so far no wine. I was getting way too much in the habit of having a glass of wine (or 2) every evening for my tastes. That is certainly not a habit I want to foster for myself.

    I don't do resolutions, I do a year-end recap of the highlights of my year. Every day I find three positive things that happened, and then for New Year's (not necessarily on the day itself, but somewhere after Christmas and before too far into the new year) I revisit several of the best things.

    Although last year I resolved to go one entire calendar year without having surgery or any other major medical mishap, and I did it! That's really exciting if you know how many times I've been in and out of the hospital in the last 10 or so years! :rolleyes:

    Well, I did. I resolved to not spend money on things I didn't really need.

    But then, my sons presented me with a Glock 42 for Christmas . . . so of course I needed some things then!

    It's a tiny thing of beauty . . .
