How To Repair Faulty Module Comctl32.dll_unloaded ?

I run anti-malware software regularly on my six month old Win7-Pro laptop but now have a problem running newly installed trading platform software and get an error listed in Event Viewer of "Faulty module name; COMCTL32.dll_unloaded". It appears the software won't run until the DLL file is repaired.

Can anyone assist in how to replace or repair this dll?

I use Avast anti-virus and scan with Super-AntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro, CCleaner and occasionally Rogue Killer. I visited this site earlier today and downloaded the recommended Tweaking.comWindow Repair software and ran it. Previously ran sf/scannow a couple times. No errors were reported.

I've attached a screenshot of the Event Viewer report.
    Advice will be appreciated.
    Thanks

PS- I saw another person's post concerning a problem with this DLL file. I have never used the Panda anti-virus they mention.

In your first instruction do you mean to simply type in the 'regsvr32 comctl32.dll ' in the cmd prompt window?

If that doesn't work would a Windows repair using my OEM built in recovery repair the dll file?

yes, but as administrator, since you are changing a protected windows file.

according to the link at 7forums, that will not work.

i'm more of a mac person, who happens to help family and friends with their windows problems. this link: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html
has a complete walk through with do's and don'ts for a repair install.
if you actually need a win7 iso, you can get it from microsoft here:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows7
apparently, if you have a valid win7 product key, you can download a win7 iso file

i'm not really sure what else to tell you, except good luck with it.
and for completeness, this was the original post i found:

Many people have had problems with this. After entering a valid Product Key the site returned "Invalid Product Key" and if they were able to get an ISO, it was for the French language version only.

There's a German mirror site that acquired the Digital River ISOs before Microsoft took Digital River down last February. The downloads are via Torrent and not HTTP. It's where I got my Win 7 Ultimate and Enterprise ISOs from.
