    Recuva is a brilliant program. I tested it after I formatted a memory card with FAT32. It found all the files on the card. And I recovered every one of them.
    BTW I backed up every file before my test.

    Thank you! The video was very informative. I tried to use recuva first and it couldn't read the disc. So I guess I need to reformat the USB. I see you used FAT 32. Is this the best one to help get the data back?
