Pale Moon Didn't Import My Firefox Passwords

I just reinstalled Pale Moon because I got sick of using Firefox (it's too sticky) but I found that I had to retype in all my passwords. The first time I tried to install Pale Moon, it had all my passwords saved from Firefox so I don't understand why that isn't the case this time. I do know that as I was installing it this time, it asked me if I wanted to import from IE or Safari. The only other option was don't import anything. I assumed import from Firefox wasn't an option because it would import automatically from Firefox but apparently not. So what should I do? I don't want to have to remember all the sites I log into and manually copy over the passwords.

You'll need to copy the files key3.db and logins.json from your Firefox profile to the Pale Moon profile.
    To locate a profile, type
    Code:
    about:profiles
into the browser URL bar and from there you want the Root Directory -> Show Folder.

No, sorry, that didn't work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I searched for key3.db and found two. The one in the Firefox profile folder and the one in the Pale Moon profile folder. I copied the Firefox one and used that to replace the Pale Moon one, then I searched for logins.json, found it in the Firefox profile folder and copied it into the Pale Moon one. Then I closed and reopened Pale Moon and came to this site assuming I'd be automatically logged in but I wasn't. I had to log in manually, and Pale Moon still didn't know my password. I had to type it out again.

Copy the files when both FF and PM are closed.

But, Mozilla have changed some of their code recently, making the old, full migration tricky, the Pale Moon migration tool has recently been pulled because of this (after attempts to write a new one failed): http://www.palemoon.org/migrationtool.shtml

It seems that Pale Moon stores passwords in FF's old format as signons.sqlite.

Ah, thanks. Seems there's nothing I can do then. I'll just have to manually copy over each password.

Did a search for that. Was hoping I'd find it in the Firefox folder but only found it in the Pale Moon one. So nothing to copy. So no options apart from manual copying, it seems. Oh well. Thanks for the help anyway.

Download Waterfox, sync with Firefox, and after that copy from Waterfox these two files and paste in Pale Moon folder. This works for me
