Just upgraded speccy to 1.29.714 .... not showing CPU temp now. Have I missed something?:(
Went back to version 1.25.674 showing 68c running hot!
(folding@home and checking things out)

From the left side menu of Speccy.
'Summary' - that should show temps
'CPU' - as long as you open up ALL the down arrows it should show temps at least twice.
Make sure you are logged in as ADMIN, or simply right click the speccy shortcut and choose to 'run as administrator'.

If you are still not seeing that I can only assume it's a problem on your system.

Shouldn't be an issue even with folding to show CPU temps, if folding temps can be hot on a CPU, GPU folding is better at times. but what's your motherboard make and model?

Same version, same problem (unstressed Thinkpad E335 running Win 10 Pro)

Thx Earthling, I don't feel so alone, now;)

    MOBO = ALiveSATA2-GLAN (CPUSocket)

I agree David, temp shouldn't matter. Tried reinstall of 129 with folding paused and after 1/2 hr cooldown ... same result, no cpu temp report.

And if you open up the far left hand side menu 'CPU' do you not get this:

No Max, no temp. The attached pic is now Win 8.1 on same computer, same Speccy version, and no temps

If Speccy, or any other hardware monitoring tool version fails (as they all do sometimes), I suggest using HWiNFO (32/64 version to suit your OS, updated very frequently) as a check/alternative:
    32-bit: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/hwinfo32.html
    64-bit: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/hwinfo64.html

Checkout MA's video on the download pages as well. I almost always use it Settings Only (use the arrows bottom left to increase/decrease the number of columns displayed):

Sorry, seems to be stuck on thumbnail, rather than full size.)

I agree with satrow where speccy is not showing CPU temps for some users, then use that alternative. But I would recommend anyone with that problem, where speccy isn't showing the CPU temp, to drop a message to Piriform about it for them to investigate.

When I realised Speccy wasn't reading cpu temps I installed Core Temp, a tiny app that does rather more than Speccy cpu-wise.

Today, I rechecked a new download of Speccy v 1.29 and still no cpu temp. I reviewed Piriform forum and alot of temp issues have been reported, but essentially no answers provided.:( Seems strange to see Ccleaner get updated, so often, but seldom Speccy.o_O

Core Temp is handy;) and HWMonitor by CPUID is very good;:) found here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/hwmonitor.html:cool:

Keep in mind that Speccy shows the average CPU temperature with multi-core processors.

Core Temp, by default, shows the highest CPU temp but has the option to show All core temps.

I use the portable version and it's great. The "notification area" sits in the system tray and shows the primary core temp, percentage of RAM in use and CPU load while using only 2.8 MB of RAM.
