Hp UK online website offered top end laptop workstations normally selling at the equivalent of US$3088 for $2!
They said they were 'sorry' and would refund the mass avalanche of buyers their '$2' purchase but wouldn't let them have the systems!

"according to consumer rights group Citizens Advice, retailers can often cancel online orders if they have made a "genuine and honest mistake on their part that you should have noticed"." lol

Genuine mistake more a genuine typo and no double check of info going out, with all of these types of mistakes over the years you would have thought companies you learn. On a side note have many now noticed the increasing amount of typos on online news these days, thinking some need to turn on spellcheck and make sure its language is set to country of origin.

I have noticed everything is slowly changing to US spelling.....damn you MS office with your default US dictionary.... I always change mine to the Macquarie Dictionary as it is the Australian standard which is almost identical to UK spelling which default is the Oxford Dictionary. That way I can spell things like humour, centre, anaesthetic, haemoglobin, aeon, calibre, civilised, fibre, fillet, flautist, colour, jeweller, agonise, litre, cheque, tyre......just a few off the top of my head but you get the idea.

Why call it English when you don't spell words like the people who invented the language and it is named after :rolleyes:o_O
