dude, been on for a few hours now reading and such, tryin to take my mind off my wifes ex, and ill tell ya, this 1607 update is not looking good. windows is really outdoing themselves with win10, totally glad i gutted my OS and have not updated since beta. i dont know how to handle this guy, i will admit it is out of my league, but i hope my hard work tonight is helpful and fruitful in the findings of solutions. i could really use some oldschool backup though.

so far ive found three posts talking about sluggish behaviour and glitchyness of mouse. some worse than others. eitherway i need someone who is more advanced than i to take a deep look at 1607 and find out why older hardware is having such an adverse reaction. windows 10 folks, everything you hated about 2000,vista, and 8, rolled into one burrito and disguised as windows 7 with a fresh coat of turd polish.

No point in whinging about a bad 1607 'update', you only have 10 days to roll it back. Just roll it back or restore your previous backup image.

MS have some work to do with the bugs they've already admitted to, it might be a while before it's really ready for prime time.

Rollback is best option if there is an issue and if an issue then look at 3rd party hardware as well, issues are not always Microsoft's but can be other hardware that's not fully compatible, if you had issues at all with core Win10 then they will follow on in later builds. X fingers and no issues on my PC, laptop and Surface with Win10 Anniversary build, win 10 phone also ok, actually better battery life surprisingly.

I installed Win 10 Pro on my Thinkpad and upgraded to the Anniversary build. So far, so good. It runs well; I like 10 better than 7 or 8. I run Linux/BSD on all of my other stuff. :)

@hitest I agree with you and I have never dislikes any windows versions even Vista (funny enough have a signed DVD of a beta build from one of the senior engineers of this OS as a thanks) Linux I run too as I love the OS, its a simple one as I'm simple! so Kubuntu 16.04 is great for me.
