Edge Browser

Not much being said about this, and having spent 45 minutes simply trying to import and organise my FFX bookmarks I'm not too surprised. I really like Win 10 but, fast as it is, this browser should never have been released on the public in this state. Frustrating doesn't start to do it justice.

 

That's why I have stopped using Edge browser it needs sorting out. I switched to my 2nd fav browser which is google chrome.

 

Never used IE even when there wasn't much else and even when it got to version 11, and no intention of using Edge. There is no need for it.

 

Well there wasn't any need for 10 either, but it is so good I assumed Edge would also be worth a look-see too. Not so though.

 

Yes there were occasions when IE was 'needed' but not for general use. In the days of Phoenix then Firefox, the 'IE Tab' extension worked well enough. Aside from a work situation, where IE ruled 'supreme' back in the dark days, I never used it for general use.

 

General use, no. For work, egad we have web apps that require IE11. That won't work on anything else. Also, one has to turn off a lot of features just to get them to work. /sigh

 

If you guys were to try Edge you would be only too glad to have IE available

 

I have tried it but I'm not fond of it.
