Been watching this myself but on CBS Action on UK TV (remastered is really good quality), not BBC weirdly as they are pretty crap these days for anything new, Strictly Come Dancing is good if you like ballroom, but comedy nah!

Anyone else ever binge watch Andromeda? Roddenberry FTW.

Here we are currently working our way through Star Trek TNG on Netflix.

There are some low points, but overall the writing is remarkably good. :)

They do look pretty good . . . even though I am a bit of a "originalist" on most things. I also like how they have digitally enhanced some of the special effects.

Yes, I have. Good stuff. Roddenberry was a fantastic writer and producer. Heck, for that matter he also flew a B-17 bomber in WWII, and while coming up with some of his shows he worked as a motorcycle cop in California. All around great dude.

We have been also. So far I like the series. "Killjoys" is another decent series that airs on the same network just before (or after - not sure. We DVR all this stuff) that was also renewed for another season.

There are low points in all the Trek series . . . with TNG starting in the mid second season, things got a lot better. But like you said, overall, it's a great series.

"Voyager" is also good, and "Enterprise" as well . . . though Enterprise did not receive good reviews. Dunno why. We liked it.

I'm still on the fence about Deep Space 9 . . . but to be fair, I haven't seen the entire series. It was kind of hit and miss with it. I'm going to start watching it from the beginning soon to give it a fair shake.

It had lots of Worf, which automatically makes it awesome.

But for more awesome... Garak and Quark. Yes. Watch them closely.

I watched every Star Trek series that came out. ...Actually I take that back as apparently there was an animated series as well. I did not watch that.

I loved all of them. I haven't watched them since they were originally out except the original. Maybe I should give it a try. For me, things like that never seem to live up to what they were with the advancement of special effects, though.
