Ranomware Attack!

    I have ransomware. Can't access any of my files. I have premium Malwarebytes, and I'm running a scan now, but from what I've read, I'm screwed. What are my first steps? Is there any recourse? I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on a 64 bit. I was initially unable to connect to the net, but ran an outdated MWB scan in safemode and was subsequently able to get online and update my database. But it didn't fix the ransom issue. I'm at a complete loss. Halp!

    Sorry bout the typo in the heading. Can't seem to edit it.
