I downloaded Advanced System Care from MajorGeeks and when it loaded from the download file, Malware bytes quarantined it as a PUP. I removed it from quarantine, but is there a problem with this program?

And apparently Malwarebytes deleted the program (?!).

Your thread in the Specialist Malware Forum hasn't even been finished yet, and your system hasn't yet been declared clean, so the very last thing you should be doing right now is installing ANY unrelated software at all, let alone something like ASC that could easily mess up your system badly.

ASC seems to be a moot point as it is no longer on the system. The problems addressed in the reply from Eldon are not related to this issue, except peripherally. I'm not reloading ASC in any case.

Both Malwarebytes and Avira are flagging Advanced SystemCare as malicious.

The best thing is to leave this issue aside until the malware issue is finished. After that you will find multiple files and entries for ASC left behind on your system and you can clean them out then, but not now.
