NB This is not at all worrying... :)

I use my Yahoo Mail account with MajorGeeks. I'm merely sharing this to see your opinions/comments.
Two days ago I received this email.
    Any thoughts?

Hey Eldon, looks like a classic phishing email that is looking for real world email addresses for whatever reason. Even if you unsubscribe you are showing that their email reached a valid email account.

BTW Where are they having the supposed digital promotion.... oh....."in your country"....... why not go after the MG owners in the USA....... because Tim or Jim would delete this crap.
Of course if you want to cause them some minor pain then register their email address at a stack of pron or dating sites......... that will fill up their inbox

Edit: I forgot to mention they probably got your email address by luck or by targeting a domain range.

    Thanks joffa.

Yes, "in your country". There's also the repeat of "We would like to feature a unique piece of content on your site on behalf of our client." And "Virus on win 2003". The last time I checked it was 2017!

I should email him and ask to send the "fee of $75" in Bitcoins... :D

Good luck with that..... what does one say..... less likely than a snowflakes chance in hell ;)

I reckon you would have more luck getting money from either the Prince or the bank manager in Nigeria :D

    Oh well...
Guess I'll email him and say I miss his sister. As long as she pays me $75... :D

    Forward the email to gmail
    Code:
    https://support.google.com/mail/contact/abuse
They'll shut down who ever is sending or blacklist the true sender.

I agree with Eldon. It looks and sounds like a phishing email. It might be just a trick to give out personal information and so on.
