Compatible Ram For Acer Aspire Aod260?

Respected Members,

I have Acer Aspire one D260 Netbook..It came with 1Gb RAM..
I Want to increase it upto 2GB RAM..
After going through on internet,I got so much confused as it should be compatible with motherboard etc.
It has Kingstone 1GB 1Rx8 PC-6400S RAM DDR2..

So Which compatible RAM I should use
2GB 1Rx8 PC-6400S DDR2 or DDR3
2GB 2Rx16 PC-6400S DDR2 or DDR3

I got confused with all this Rx8,Rx16,DDR2,DDR3 Stuff....

Plus I was not able to find motherboard configuration...All I could get is BIOS Version- Acer Aspire One AOD260 version v1.01 4/28/2010. SMBIOS version 2.6

finally i ordered 2GB 2Rx8 PC-6400S DDR2 from amazone...I was not able to get 1Rx8..Hope it works...

 

Did you run a scan with the Crucial Memory Scanner first?
