Process Killer For Windows 8.1

Hey Guys & Gals,

I am looking for a program to kill processes on a Windows 8.1 system.
I have tried many ways to kilk process/programs and none work for some items.
I have tried multiple CMD prompt commands as admin on the CMD prompt and they did not work.
I have tried ctrl, alt, del and tried killing there several ways and does not work at times.
Even tried Alt-F4 and did not help.

So is there a good program that will kill a frozen/not responding program that will work on windows 8.1?
I tried googleing but some programs dont work on Windows 8.1.

Try Process Explorer.

Did you try using Task Manager by right clicking the process and selecting End Task?

 

Hello,

Yes I have been thru task manager and even elevated command prompt options.
The only way I have been able to end the process was a restart.

Did you try clicking at top of app, drag down and holding until mouse logo rotates? see video at link

Not sure if this works with Win8 or 8.1, but it used to be a great little program, if you are still having probs.
