    I'm back.

123 Photo Viewer does not open.
error message: Invalid value for registry
Other miscellaneous tiles don't work, but I can usually find a workaround.
I've tried "reset" in Settings>apps>apps n features - no love
After reading some, I suspect there are registry entries that are completely missing.
I have no idea how to uninstall, then re-install "123"
I should probably ignore it, but now I'm obsessed.

One ODD? thing I just noticed: beneath all other entries in the "apps and features" area, Adobe products appear to be signed by Adobe, Google Chrome signed by Google, Acronis says "acronis" just under the line...and I'd expect that 123 Photo Viewer would have something about "Microsoft" beneath it. Instead it has "mjmengji.com" listed.

    Now what?

    TIA

    Dr Carl

If you click the 123 app in Apps and Features you should get an uninstall button, no?

Nope. You probably know that it's an app from the Win "store". I believe usually bundled into Win. Thanks anyway for considering.

All the installed apps, whether from the Store or otherwise, are in Apps and Features but the 123 Photo Viewer is not bundled, not in Pro anyway. As there is no Uninstall button just reinstall over the top, as has been suggested.

Bottom line: FIXED - SOLVED - REPAIRED

I finally found the "uninstall" button, uninstalled, reinstalled and it's working.

I started to make notes to share, so if you've nothing better to do and want some boring reading, well, here ya go.

    THANK YOU for being here.

    ================================================

First, a minor thing. I see that the suspicious "mjmengji.com actually IS the developer, so, no worries.

Next, I have tried to reinstall the app over the one there.
When I go to the install page here, (as noted above), there is a "get the app" button which when followed opens the store and then a big dialog box that says "This product is installed".

There are three buttons there, "Launch" "Pin to Start" and "Share".
When I press "Launch" my #2 display (I have three) makes a very brief flicker of a purple-ish title bar across the top of the screen, which then fades away while appearing to head toward the task bar.
A small hint of an icon flickers on the task bar for the briefest of time, then disappears.

sfc /scannow found nothing to fix.

Headed over to "Apps & features", "Default apps".
Changed default Photo viewer to 123.
Attempted to view a photo and again get the "Invalid value for registry" error box.

    Back to "Apps & features" - moved 123 from D\ to C\
Hovered over a JPG and right clicked for context menu.
Selected Open with 123 Photo Viewer - got "Invalid value for registry" again.

OMG. Usere error? I just found the "uninstall" button there. Used it. Reinstalled. Did some Windows updates that were kinda hung, restarted, all is good.

    Thanks again.
