Can't Load Adobe Flash For Win 7

I want to load latest Flash. I get error msgs I don't have latest, and can't play some movies or anything needing the update.
My OS is Firefox, I have but seldom use IEx, I am running Win7
When I try to download Flash, it starts the procedure, the quits, and I get a message Flash failed to load. Tried download from different sources, all failed

 

Firefox ESR version 52.4.0 is the best Fx for using Flash. The standard release no longer supports Flash.
You can install this over your existing Fx. You wont lose the profile.

I would recommend not using flash unless it's needed for some thing.

That doesn't make sense. If a website uses Flash a user must use a browser that supports it. Some websites support HTML5 as an alternative, some do not.
If a user wants to access a website that needs Flash they have no choice.

 

I use OpenH264 Video Codec and so far have access to flash base web sites.

 

That doesn't work on many websites requiring Flash so my original point remains. So your suggestion to 'just not use' Flash doesn't make sense.

 

So using a product that has nothing but vulnerability's all the time is a good idea than.Where hacker's can use these exploits to gain access to not only your computer but others as well.

It's just a suggestion and a caution and warning at the same time.

A software that has these issues all the time is not to be used all the time when this type of thing happens all the time.

 

In IT terms that's nonsense as any IT expert would tell you.
All software without exception is potentially hackable. Flash is no more prone to vulnerabilities than many other widely used software.
The critical issue is the security software on any system. That is the reason that at any one time 70% of Windows systems around the world (which is BILLIONS) are riddled with malware.

The Adobe group have know-en for years now that flash is bad to use and they are going to get rid of it either this year or next year.

Are you trying to argue that flash is good than.

Why would you argue this.An IT person would most likely agree that flash has vulnerability exploits all the time.And is one of the worst coded options in the world.

Even i don't use flash.

Adobe have made no announcement to discontinue Flash. Its principle competitor Silverlight is now dead in the water.
Flash is still used for websites all over the world. That wouldn't be the case if what you say is true. But it's not.

May be flash player is so bad they would rather have a bed set lol.

 

Silverlight support will also end at about the same time, so Flash will be just fine to use - when necessary - for the next three years. So long as a user keeps Flash up to date and their system security software up to date using Flash is just fine.
