After many fails and trials with me.I can not take windows 10 issues any more.

Not only does it load slow as dirt. But the install process it has is completely stupid.I don't understand Microsoft problem any more.I find that it's pretty sad that older Operating Systems run's ten times better than windows 10.And there install processes are much simpler.Than Windows 10 complicated install process.

When i go to play games on windows 10 compared to windows 7.Windows 7 runs games ten times better FPS is much better than windows 10.

Sure windows 7 may be outdated but who cares.

I would rather have an Operating System that run's flawlessly than an Operating system that is all ways broken.

No matter what i do i can not get windows 10 to run properly as it should. This OS is completely half ass back words.Microsoft tried to make a windows with the intent of better Graphics rely ability but it's back words it really is.

Pretty sad when a six year old operating system is better at performing games and video than a newer OS.

People are not realizing how bad windows 10 has gotten. It's bad i mean bad.

First problem with me is that there is hardly any customization windows 10.You literally have to use modded tools and hacker tools to even mod any thing in this OS.

At lest with an older OS it is better at modifying to your needs.

I remember when I bought my 1st PC, people were making the same complaint vis a vis 98 and XP. ;) I've had no issues, not even my old stuff.

If you can hack it, so can anyone else.

I'm not a huge fan of Windows, I mostly run Linux/BSD on my PCs and laptops. However, I do have one Lenovo Thinkpad that runs Windows 10 Pro. I've run Microsoft products from DOS 5.0, Windows 3.1-----> Windows 10. I think that Windows 10 is an improvement over 8.1. Win 10 runs quite well for me and when I have issues I've been able to correct them. I also like the way that MS is making an effort to harden their OS.

Not trying to be funny - but I remember you used to post the things you had done to Win 10 to make it run like you wanted.
Have you tried any of those things this time around? I disabled a lot of stuff in 8.1 and it runs great. Also have StartMenu Classic Shell installed which made a big difference. Good Luck!

I have tried many settings and nothing works well in windows 10 even when trying to play games. When i try to play games the video acts funny like it can't keep up with the game play.

But in windows 7 any game i throw at it.It plays flawlessly with out issue no stuttering.

Even the Frame Per seconds seem to be a heck of a lot better in windows 7 than 10.

In my opinion most people went to windows 10 for direct x 12 which in my opinion does not make any sense.Be cause most games these days don't even use the direct x 12 only 9 or 11.

I have played all sorts of stuff in all kinds of windows os from windows 1.1 to windows 10.And having that kinda experience as a windows user is bad.I never have had any issues with stuttering in windows 7 never.Even when i try to play higher end games like GTA 5 that use a lot resources.

Windows 10 may be great for just web surfing and videos.

But in my opinion it cannot handle any type of high end gaming that most people do any more.

I run Tomb Raider in it's highest settings with zero issue. However, the beast is built to run circles around most games. Currently enjoying Transformers: Devastation which is pretty fun and great homage to the 80's original cartoon.

Your laptop CPU is fairly high end, but 512 MB for graphics isn't a whole lot. This really isn't a dedicated gaming laptop.

    Upgrade your memory.

There is a distinct possibility that video card is eating into the amount of installed RAM by trying to use some of it in order to render things faster. That's before we remember that 8GB for Windows 10 isn't that much to begin with, and then you try to play games on this? I'm not surprised you're running into problems.

True but it runs games perfectly fine games like GTA 5 on high settings with windows 7.

I can not figure out how it runs better on windows 7 compared to 10.

I don't think adding more ram is going to do much.Be cause it's barely using 3 or 4 gigs at gaming mode.

The only problem i really see is the APU processes that is the bottle neck in this system.

Would any be able to tell me how i could adjust the dedicated memory in windows 7.I cannot do it through BIOS.

I see the problem as the 512 MB integrated graphics. My Radeon R5 integrated graphics uses 1 GB of my system RAM. There's no way to adjust this. Unfortunately, there's no dedicated graphics solution either.

I have also ditched Windows 10 and gone back to windows 7 myself after issues with gaming stutters and various other things.

Rockstar are not known for smooth and well optimized PC ports. That said, additional digging revels that Rockstar's minimum requirements for GTA5 call for a GPU with 1GB RAM. Windows 10 is not listed as compatible with the game. That would explain why it's running better in Win7.

Unfortunately that leaves us without a lot of things that we can change to make the game run better.

One of Rockstar's major issues with GTA 5 and in windows 10 is the social club issue. It runs 4 social club processes at random and can take an extra 10% of the cpu power in windows 10.But the funny thing is social club UI is not listed any where in windows 7 which is odd if you ask me.

May be it's a bug i have no clue.

Games should not have multi processes in my opinion.

    It's not needed.

But i find it pretty sad that i can play GTA 5 on a 512 mb video apu lol.May be there specs are wrong or i am just at modding.
I agree there are too many issues rising with windows 10 i can not stand.Far to many processes running in the back round for one for an operating system to run.And at random times CPU is just bottle necked by Certain processes like Windows defender. If Windows defender is not disabled it could use 20 to 30 percent of the cpu at all times. For no reason at all.

Windows Defender was not the problem with mine. constant updates with the windows insider program it just kept crashing windows with the GSOD. My games are on Steam platform and every game i played had stutters in them and some of them didn't even load (Even tried running in compatibility mode). So I have just given up and switched back to Windows 7 x64.

Oh and i don't use steam for that reason.Steam has a lot of issues in it self. When i go to play a mmo i just find an installer.I don't use a a third party tool be cause for one they all ways seem to have bugs that are not addressed fast enough and two it just cost more in the end.

When i go to back-up data i store all my current game files to a external disk drive so that it saves time reinstalling and saves a lot of data.

I am running 10, and have a virtual machine to address certain compatibility issues. If you can think of the Windows OS, I've got a VM for that.

The sheer speed not only installing, but booting and running the old Windows versions is pretty wild.

    I normally don't run VM.

Unless i am playing a game with multi accounts.

Must be worth trying a VM with w7 inside your Windows 10, if only for the games - I would think as the mechanic said
