Ip Address Of Facebook User Profile

Sorry, I know this is wrong place and was unsure where I could go.

I got harassed by a facebook user with fake name Chaim Brooklyn (the one with beavis and butthead in their profile pic) https://www.facebook.com/yitzchack15 . cyber bullying is crazy. Guy posts in a page called Neighbors of Marlboro NJ https://www.facebook.com/groups/703564033156821/?fref=nf

He sent me derogatory messenger messages and I'm frightened. I did report to FB and I also reported to local PD with no results Cops said it's not high priority item. I figure it was easy to get IP address from facebook, they didn't bother.

Is there a way I can identify this person. I did learn he got kicked out of a different facebook group I'm in a while ago but, he must have another profile as he saw posts of mine within it and group is private.

I need to know who they are so I can get to sleep for a change. I'm worried as they can be a neighbor or anyone else and not sure what they'll do.

Sadly, I prior in my life ignored 3 anonymous post its and a friend and I got attacked with a knife and gun and guy ran out of a 3rd floor window when police busted in. Sadly my friend got cut up, me just major anxieties.. guy was caught but, damage can never be undone. So, I'm told to move on... well it's 2:08AM and I'm worried he can be outside my house.

Anyone know anything I can do? I tried to call up his messenger message and did netstat -an but it was foreign to me. I'll attach those ip addresses if it means anything to anyone else.

I know who the guy is now. His name is Angus and I can't say his last name as then I'm cyberbullying. I believe this guy is now sending sex emails using fake profiles to my childs email as my child laptop activity shows nothing to any websites and was protected and all thee types of emails all of a sudden started going to his email address coincedentally when Angus started his harassment !!! How do I get this harassment to stop? or how can I prove it or where it is coming from? My son cried when he openned his email the other week and now I'm setting him up a new one. Anything as the police seem to have put this all to the side. I think this man is stalking my family now. Seems all I can do is change every id we use vs. getting this guy shut down. Scariest part is he runs a company that can be in schools!!

Yes if I can prove it's him...seems he may have signed the email address up for porn sites... or if he is sender they were notified of original posts but they were to my messenger and while reported, not sure if they are doing a thing about it.

Yes, I've done this, every day 10 more raunchy emails enter his email... seems I'm not choosing correct email to block. The default just to block the email itself, doesn't seem to work as the real email address is not shown...

Along with the advice you have gotten here already I would suggest you close/deactivate the yahoo email address immediately and acquire a new email address for your child. Probably would also use a different email provider other than yahoo for the new email address just as a extra step. Copy any contacts email addresses you want to keep and use for the new email address. At the very least this will stop your child from seeing the bad stuff being sent to them.

well I did email that company and this morning, not a single new email came to him.... so maybe they were all through the same company. Thank you.

Every day I blocked who sender was for him... every day a different email address the messages came from, all being strange endings like gxbhqjsejr@qbtgyrfzii.com .

At this point I set up a new yahoo email for him but, Is there a better email provider that you may think is safer?

My personal email is also via yahoo.... maybe I will change them all.

Now I'm thinking about house cameras, not in the current budget, but this guy faking his profile whom has told me his name, probably now emailing my son, thinking he's emailing me has me spooked. Any advice on cameras within budget? Police then may have more reasons as now, they say while he admitted his name they don't have proof. UGG.... sadly a new email just came in to my sons email address, I was so hopeful it would stop. the stuff you linked on whois site is beyond my ability to read.

If it means anything, my son is a huge Star Wars fan... Now if I can just get tickets as I forgot too. last time we went to midnight showing. He is obsessed his Halloween costumes have been Darth Vader, Anakin, Blue clone trooper, and a few I just do not know names of. As a child he used to fall asleep to the story of anakin on 1 side DVD and the story of luke on the other side. Now he is older so he says he's a collector.

They, and even your local police, have access to significant investigative resources, especially when it involves child sex abuse.

 

nobody has been physically abused, mentally yes. the email is set up as an adults email (I used it for his school stuff too) as his age can not have an email address, now I realize he can with me as guardian name. I can't ensure that same guy is doing both. I guess I'd have to open another investigation with PD on the emails received. Maybe the PD is doing something although it does not appear to me that they are since I have guys name and he is still posting away and I have heard nothing back in 3 weeks of this. My friends tell me they get this type of stuff too... people seem just not to care. too many sick people out there... email got 2 more sex emails this morning. I guess I need to just close it down after we ensure everyone has correct new address. Hopefully we can start over with a clean slate.

I did follow up and sent a complaint to the bd of ed and Mayor, as well as the state as I'm so concerned that he can be in our schools and behave this way behind fake screen names, a bit sick and disturbing, to say the least.
