Chrome Is Being Very Slow Or Getting Disconnected From Server.

Most of the time when i try to access certain sites chrome takes an exceptionally long time to load them. In the case of mega it gets disconnected from server error, and is so far the only site that does this. None of my other browsers are having this issue however so it's only chrome that is doing this.

This problem came out of nowhere honestly. The sites that take forever to load seem to be random.

 

Reset Chrome to its defaults and test those websites again:

well that didn't work. any other ideas? I'm open to anything even threatening google chrome with a magnet.

Well that fixed things the new browser is able to access the sites quick and without any problems However firefox and ice dragon have started show similar slowdown symptoms. Happened right after resetting chrome too.

 

I see no need for two versions of Firefox - ie Firefox and Comodo's Fx based Ice Dragon. Having multiple versions of the same browser architecture has never seemed to be anything but potential conflict to me.

 

which one do you recommend? I only got icedragon cuz i heard firefox was getting discontinued. Obviously that isn't true. I still want to have three separate browsers however.

 

My own choice is Firefox, Comodo Dragon and Opera.

 

For Win 10 users Edge is good.

 

There are many ways to fix this issue.

1. Make sure hardware acceleration is disable if you don't have it.
2. Don't use a lot of extensions if you don't need so disable or delete them.
3. Clear browsing history.
4. Use Google DNS Server
