I'm guesstimating there's a problem with Adobe's servers and the files aren't downloading.
See if you can get the offline installer over here.

If not, all I can suggest is to use a different PDF reader.

Thanks. I tried the offline and it installed successfully. Did you notice that when the download failed, if you click, the problematic finish click, you get windows explorer stopped error message. By the by , could you suggest the best alternative to it. Regarding the adobe reader, offline installer, there are two versions, which should i choose, one at 11 version and other a different one. Which should I download. What is the difference. one is saying uk download. pl enlighten me

After using Adobe Reader for many years, I switched to PDF-XChange Viewer.

A popular PDF viewer is Foxit Reader.

From the link you got it is you that chooses the OS and the language you want. The first link is the most up to date version. It works just fine for me on Windows 10.

Like Eldon, I dumped the bloated Adobe reader for Foxit. Then I dumped Foxit after it too started getting bloated. (Currently 51.2 MB and has ads)

    I've used Sumatra for years.

Hi, Adobe reader was fine. But it pops up, the file transfer to some other format always when you just browse the file. Most of the orgn are using it, as it is the first evolved program.
Hi, Eldon, is the xchange viewer shareware? I downloaded the version at the link and it asked me for serial number?
