Not finished yet, but so far ..... a new pair of jeans, wiper blades, a heating/vibrating/massage wrap and a flood light for the pump house.

    What did you get? :)

The wife got wrenches, screwdrivers, a tackle box with extra hooks sinkers and stringer and a good knife. Also a 20" gold necklace.
    I got - a happy wife!

I told everyone that I really did not want a thing, and I meant it. I just wanted everyone to come for a nice family meal and time to visit with all the family. I got that and I also got was a whole bunch of nice gift cards. A bunch of the family is coming back tonight to eat the leftovers.:)

I had the best gift ever. My 23 year old daughter and fiance came over for dinner on Christmas Eve. I haven't decided on anything for myself yet, heh-heh. A bit slow off the mark. Probably something IT related.

We got a new Samsung 75" 4K UHD HDR television, a new leather 3 seater lounge with electric recliners and two matching electric recliner armchairs and a new set of bone china crockery for 12 place settings and I also got some t-shirts, some jocks, socks and hankies, a 3kg homemade fruit cake from my mum, a magnetic bottle opener that goes on the fridge door, $300 in gift vouchers to buy records and a bottle of Jack Daniels No. 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey. A friend is also going to give me a bottle of Jim Beam Double Oaked Bourbon next week and another friend is giving me 6 bottles of Tahbilk 2003 Vintage Shiraz..... all in all a good christmas.

We had all the family and some close friends over for our traditional Christmas dinner and we had a 6kg turkey buffe cooked on the BBQ with all the roast vegies and peas and cauliflower then my mum always makes a traditional Christmas pudding and we have it with brandy custard.
It is a big day as everyone arrives at 11am and we start on champagne and cheese and biscuits and plates of antipasto then the main meal with Tahbilk 2005 Marsanne at 1pm then we have a couple of beers and a rest and exchange gifts then around 3:30pm we have Christmas pudding and a few more drinks then around 6pm we have coffee and Christmas cake and chocolates and by 8pm the last of the guests are leaving. It is a wonderful day but a lot of hard work goes into preparing everything and then the cleanup afterwards.

A really cool 24HR large face analog clock to put in my den, a nice set of various Craftsman pliers, and a nifty 30ft utility electrical cord that is mounted in a self- retracting spindle you can hang on a ceiling joist, etc.

Utility cord is perfect for my workshop in the basement, as there are not many recepticles there (and I've been too lazy to install more, lol).

    That knife is beautiful!

Among other things, I got a copy of the Sword Coast Adventurer' Guide (the D&D remains strong with this one), and an absolutely beautiful red enameled 6 quart cast iron Dutch oven. I have grand plans for cooking beef stew now. :)

Most interesting gift was from Wifey to the car - Carlashes.
Not sure I will leave them on long after new years, but they certainly get a lot of comments!

We don't do presents among the adults in my family any more, but my guy got me a gorgeous tunic top I'd been eyeing for weeks, and more importantly the purchase donated money to Alzheimer's research. One of my nephews bought me a second set of herb jars so I can dry and save everything from my herb garden next year (he bought me a set last year as well) and a pair of fleece-lined Detroit Lions socks. Other than that, it was a pretty low-key holiday.

I managed to sell all the lumps of coal Santa left. I bought 12 pairs of socks and twelve pair new under ware.
I'm set for the new year.:D:D:D
