i absolutely agree/believe, also.
my brother and i have watched a number of these ufo programs on tv,
and i have to agree with an observation that my brother has made...
the only evidence us earth people have of ufos is when they crash and burn on the planet,
so if aliens can travel the vastness of space only to crash and burn on earth...
ummmm... well... that's not the technology we want to find and learn from.
just common sense

Considering the number of planets, solar systems & galaxies, it's absurd to believe we are the only living beings in the universe.

I believe. I've only experienced two. One undramatic and the other still blows my mind. The first one was in Florida around 1993-94. My grandmother was the first to notice it, she called me to come and see. She pointed up towards the sky and sure enough, what appeared to be a little star was moving in a random square pattern. Lasted for a long time, so long that I got bored and went back inside. I checked again about thirty minutes later, it was gone. I could see the stars this "star" was between, but not the star that was moving.

Second happened a couple of years ago in Europe. This one was strange, and I realize why so many people don't get the chance to snap pictures. I was taking my daughter to school, the road goes between two apartment complexes. As it was winter, it was still dark outside. My daughter says, "what's that?" pointing over the right apartment complex. I say the moon. Then I realize that it's not the moon, and as soon as my daughter and I realize we're looking at something strange, it shrinks probably 85% and shoots directly up, to the left and then disappears.

Now what these are, beyond the textbook definition of unidentified flying objects I don't know. But I sure think something is going on.

 

If anything is out there, it either cant reach us, or isn't bothered to do so.
Otherwise there would be common everyday occurrences!
Forget conspiracy theories and what might have happened 200 years ago, we would be seeing solid evidence of it today if it were so!
I have not seen any as yet, although that night around the campfire, my beers mysteriously disappeared???
The mind is a wonderful resource!

 

UFO sightings may or may not have anything to do with Extraterrestrials.
Regardless of what you believe or don't believe there are a lot of unexplained things in this world.

Whether there are other life forms out there is a very different question from the existence of UFOs. Considering the unimaginable numbers of galaxies, stars and planets it is to me inconceivable that we might be alone in the universe. However, when taking into account the distances between them, and the timescales that would be required in order to visit other planets, even within our own galaxy, I have grave doubts whether UFOs could conceivably be a reality.

Many, many years ago I read quite a few books written by Von Daniken and also by a Russian writer who's name I forgot. Thoroughly enjoyed reading them. I don't doubt that there is "life" and or "intelligence" somewhere in the universe but in what form is probably up for debate.

 

I agree with most that as vast as the universe is there is likely even more advanced civilizations.

No, I don't believe in UFO's and aliens. They simply don't exist.

 

UFO. Unidentified Flying Object...hhmm.. That's anything you see in the sky that you can't identify so those definitely exist. Enrico Fermi a Nobel Laureate physicist lived from 1901 - 1954 pointed out that as old as the universe is, and how long it took for life to develop on earth and the distances between the stars, that the galaxy should be full of advanced civilizations. But we do not find any evidence for them. If they exist they must be smart enough to stay hidden. If you advertise where you are, somebody might decide you are a threat and come eliminate you.

 

Wifey often identifies what I cook as "unidentified frying object".
