Have You Appeared In Movies Before?

One of the first things I appeared in was 'Judas Goat' - a web series, about a guy who lost his wife to a vampire, then he was made into a vampire himself. I was an extra for one day in a bar scene, when they needed extras in Edinburgh.

I was a zombie in a feature film called 'Redcon-1' back in 2016. I think the film may be coming out later in 2018. I'm not sure. They took us into an abandoned mine that would like it could fall at any time. Apart from that movie, I was in a Christian film last year called 'Home Away from Home' (my sister helped out too).

Last year, I was in a short film named 'Night Closes' as a person at Edinburgh Castle. The story went that a photographer saw this creepy person in a costume, and she freaked out. Turns out he is the Plague Doctor!

I've also made a silly horror/fantasy series with my friend. Here is the best part to the last episode we filmed last year. The rest was mostly a lot of talking, and he refused to tell me where he hid a magic book.

I've also got every major horror sequel on IMDb. Practically every single one. I'll have to do a video about my collection someday soon, but it's incredibly large.

Anyway, I cannot add more than one video. Typical... :p

Nope. My only claim to fame was that my grandmother's first cousin was Bobby Troup (of the song, Route 66, and the TV show 'Emergency' fame) and he used to come to visit all the time and would play piano and sing for us. His wife was Julie London. His daughter still comes to PA for Thanksgiving and was just at our house this year. She retired from the business (Script Supervisor) about 10 years ago.

When I sign into YouTube, it always has the new layout. I have to switch back to see my videos. This is a bit annoying.

I did three short independent films. Two died on the vine, unfinished. The third was a silent and artsy interpretation for Al Stewart's music, "Year of the Cat". It went online for only a couple of months before being pulled. Most of my work was onstage ... about 16 plays drama, comedy and musicals.

@Laura, I remember Bobby. MASH "...damn army jeep":D The earliest I recall seeing him was in "The Gene Kruppa Story".

Was this local theater? I love theater. I'm around the Philly area so we head into NYC fairly regularly.

haha...I actually didn't even know he was in MASH. I used to watch the reruns of that when I was in college. Our whole family watched Emergency when it was on, though. I think he was a better singer than actor. As kids, we loved when he would sit at the piano and he'd sing 'The Three Bears" for us. Wow, it's even on Youtube (talk about memories).

Sorry, I failed to indicate the movie MASH, in my previous post. I don't recall Bobby in the TV version.
Stage work was mostly Puget Sound area community theater. However, I did two productions in Germany.

I've not appeared in any unless you count random crowd scenes, but I've been involved with making more than one when they shoot locally. Theatre, on the other hand, I've been in several productions and worked backstage for countless others.

LOL, Naw still haven't been caught yet!!! Mostly during disaster relief. A few channels were trying to get teens to come out and help and for families to volunteer to teach their kids a valuable lesson in humanity.

NP, it happens all the time. Jason or Jackson are the most common. Not sure how some get it confused with Knucklhead though. And thank you for the compliment.

I have never been in a movie myself. I do know a couple of people who thought they were going to be in a movie. They went to shoots for weeks and then the big day came and they viewed the movie only to realize their shots were cut and left on the editing floor. What a let down.

Too cool!!!! Did you get paid extra for being on the show? Were there any rehearsals? Did you have to pay to get there?

First, Laura. It was about 15 years ago when I owned a camera store. A customer bilked on her payments. I filed suit and the show contacted us both. They have agents who review court records.

Justin...the show paid for all transportation and lodging. No rehearsal. I didn't get paid to be there. The show actually pays the judgement. But I embarrassed the hell out of the defendant, her mother and her mothers boyfriend!! :)

Getting you child's name wrong when you have more than one is a common occurrence, especially if you are rushed or upset. Most mothers have done this. BUT . . . calling your spouse by the wrong name is unacceptable! ! ! :(

I have been on news 3 times and each time the station quit the audio and inserted their own lines, which were nowhere near my words. I quit trusting local news after that. As far as movies, I used to have a brother-in-law who would say, " You ought to be inside this head!" I can imagine those movies!

Last year, I wanted to be an extra in Avengers: Infinity War. Scotland wasn't chosen. They got an agency in England instead, but still shot scenes at our famous Cockburn Street. The 'C' and 'K' is silent, so it's like co-burn! :D

I was a zombie extra in a zombie film back in 2012, which was pretty fun. We had a zombie pub crawl after the filming and for the most part stayed in character while "crawling" between bars. The film came out 4 years later and it was one of the worst films I've ever seen (except for the part where I'm in the shot, of course).
