    This has been available since the Fall Creators Update and no one here has commented on it. I guess the reason is that when you launch Ubuntu or Suse etc you aren't presented with the graphical interface you would expect in a VM or full installation - you are dumped at the Linux command prompt, and if you don't already know your way around that there is nothing at all you can do. I'm sure developers would find it useful but it isn't for those unfamiliar with Linux.

    My thoughts, too - I can use Linux/Ubunto, and others, straight from a VM's, and no problems, and I would not want to mess with command prompts - That is one reason I stumble with Mac Snow Leopard,and a couple of old Mac's that I play with.
