So I have been using Autorun Organizer 2.41 (freeware) lately. I have made a few registry changes with it, those it deems are safe to remove. When I right click on some of the programs listed (comment:task manager) in order to show the Startup Entry Location I get a lot of task manager errors. I have a WIN 7 SP1 PC.

    The blurb says this
I hope you disabled and not completely removed or exported entries.

Go back in and enable what you've disabled. If you've removed things, I'm not sure how you'd fix that.
The entries you've exported, go and import them again.

Then when you run it only disable and use that way until you are sure you haven't broken things.

Isn't it task scheduler instead of manager, you are referring to?

Yes. I meant Task Scheduler. Could someone please change the title?

Also I don't think Autorun Organizer 2.41 has anything to do with it because launching task scheduler itself from windows gives me several errors. Here are the 6 errors: 1.jpg 2.jpg 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg

This is the sixth error. I repeated 2 errors in the last post.

My thoughts, along with this link , suggests maybe hung/orphaned registry entries from applications no longer installed... I could be wrong.

I did the backup. I deleted the task registries and it seems task scheduler is showing no more errors. There seems to be no other problems with the PC as far starting up is concerned.
