Browser Bug

I have FireFox 64Bit 59.0.1 and Win7. 64Bit.

When I go to open Google and I type in the Search Box and hit enter it does not look right.

The Links come up not the way they did.
The words All Images Video and so on under the Google Search Box are not there.
But if you move your Mouse around there it turns to a Hand.

So First I removed any Ad Ons in FireFox.
Then I Ran Avast Free.
It came up Clean.

What is a Good Light Weight Program to Scan for Ad Aware?

 

I did Run it but I could not even use the Browser to Upload the Report.

I wanted to Uninstall FireFox but Uninstalled ThunderBird by Mistak.

But gess what it Fix the Browser.

Right after I Installed ThunderBird again it says One Plug In is not Compadable with the Verson of ThunderBird you have and it was Disabled.

Then the FireFox worked good.
All the Pages and Words Display right.

But I still Uploaded the Report to this Topic.

I should not have told you it was Fixed.

It is back let me tell what it looks like.

I go on Google and it opens good.
I type in say Trees or Lips or Ears.
I hit Enter and then it shows photos of these things but at the top under the Google search Box whare you would see the words Viue and Images and Videos you can move you Mouse across them but they are not there.
But the Mouse Turns to a Hand like the Links are there.

And even if I click on a Photo it brings up of say an Ear or Lips or Trees on the side would be a lot of Thumbnails of others.
And they are still there but if you move the Mouse over them they Blink off and if I click it sometimes they do'nt open.

And say I type in IMDB.com in Google seach Box it may just show one word or half a Link.

Do I need a new FireFox?

 

I tryed to ReFrash FireFox and ReSet it.
No Go but I did Uninstall it and went throught the REG. and got ride of everything.

I reinstalled it and good is working.
But I go to BookMarks then Show all BookMarks then Import and Export.
Then I pick my BookMarks I saved and click Open.

And it does not Load them it is a Blank window and says no Items.

And yes they are as .HTML and I do see it and select it.
It just Opens a blank screen and says no Items.

Or God I Hope you can help?

 

Thank you now I got my BookMarks back.

Now Google is not showing the Links and Words under the Search Box again.

I love love FireFox do you know what is going on?

OK this is what happens.

I go to Google and Type in something.
After I Hit Enter it brings back say One Link and as you scroll down the Page you see a Thick Black Square in the center of the Page from Left to Right.

But back at the Top of the Page under the Google Search Box you should see the words.....All......Image.....Video....Maps....and so on.

It is all White and if you move your Mouse over whare the words should be the Mouse turns into a Hand.

And if you look up photos of things the photos come up and Smear if you move the Mouse over it.

But this is what I did just to let you know.
I Ran Avast and came up Clean.
I Ran MailWareBytes and came up with one Windows Infaction. So I had to Quarantine it First then it makes you Restart the System. Then I open it up again a go to the Quarantine section and Delete it.
I Ran CCleaner and came up Clean.

I Uninstalled FireFox and got every FireFox Link out of the REG Edit.

It did not look like it help anything.

But to Day it all looks good and Displays good.

But I do not want to close this Topic just yet.
Can I just Leave it open for now?

 

I was right it is acting up again.
If I go on this Page the Links don't show up.
The SingIn Link is not there.
But if I put my Mouse whare the Link should be the Mouse turns into a Hand.

No words come on the Google Page.?

I used IOBit Uninstaaler to get every little thing of FireFox out of my System.

I am on Win7 64 Bit and I opened my iE Explorer Browser.
The only thing that gave me a problem with it before was me rearranging my BookMarks.

But it has bean a fue Years now so I thought I would try it again.
And when I go to this WebSite the Links show up and I can LogIn.
And Google works good as well.

The verson of iE I have is11.09600.18952
Is this Verson ok or is it Out Of Date?

And one more thing is iE more at Risk then say FireFox or any other Browser?

 

Make sure you remove the Firefox junk in %appdata% folder.

When uninstalling firefox.

 

Can the %appdata% folder be what makes FireFox act Nuts and not be Showing the words in Goodle and the Images on Google not open the right way?

Now that I am using iE Google show all Images and every Link and the words under the Google Search Box All....Images......Videos......Maps and so on.

I would run RogueKiller to see if you got any hidden stuff that might be causing this issues.I was having an issue that kept redirecting me to another web page.No matter how many times i scanned or cleaned out system.

Ok I will Run it now.
But I can not find the %appdata% Folder.

And I do have Show Hidden Files and Folders on.

Just when I do anything to track down Viresus.

 

OK I Ran the Program as you told me to and it found 7. Threats and yes I Deleted them all.

And I still can not find the %appdata% Folder. and I have Show Hidden Files And Folders On and I looked in the Windows Directory?

 

It's in your user account folder.

I see it but I have two.

One says AppData and ther other says Application Data.
Witch one do I Delete?

 

Neither.
Open the AppData folder. In both the Local and Roaming folders you'll see Mozilla folders.
Delete them.
