I Need Advice .....

I am running Windows 10 and my videos won't play properly. I have sound but no visual. Can you advise what I should do to correct his problem ? Thanks Peter Fobo. 24th March 2018

if you have sound and no video it is usually because you lack the CODEC needed. MG has a few, klite or shark's

The best media players have all the necessary codecs included.

Media Player Classic Black Edition.

If it's not to your liking, post and we'll recommend other media players.

 

I would try another player to see if that helps, Eldon's suggestions are great!

But as the other Geeks say, its quite likely a codec issue which is strange as WMP in 10 should have them all as Tim says!

I used to have codec issues with my older installs of windows on occasion, which i solved with codec updates i got right here on MG's.
Another favourite of mine is VLC media player available at MG's in latest version 3.0.1
