Need Help To Fix A Windows 10 Issue

I am using Ophcrack to unlock my mom's 10 computer. It is toshiba laptop with windows 10. The program has been running for 8 hours and still unable to find the password. My question is: Ophcrack supports the latest Windows 10? I am using ophcrack Vista/7 LiveCD

 

Ophcrack doesn't support Windows 10.

 

Google suggests there is a Windows 10 version.

Might try Offline NT Password & Registry Editor, can't get too in depth here but YouTube has tons of videos to help.

We only have your word that your "mom" forgot her password; but, if you google "utilman windows" there are numerous answers. I found, too that almost all of the older tools don't work on the newer versions of windows; but, this one does on everything from 7 to 10.

 

The author states: Ophcrack works with Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP
No option for windows 10

As i know , the Ophcrack is free tool for Windows password reset , but that doesn't mean it must help you unlock Windows 10 , It may be that you made some mistakes when you were operating.Or your Windows 10 doesn't support the software. It is recommended that you try other methods ,

 

Any recommendations?

Don't make the problem too complicated as this problem can be solved with a simple solution, lol.......
