    Hi guys,
I transferred my videos to a new external HDD. In one of the folders I found Visual C++ 2008 was unzipped for some reason to one of my video partitions. I want to reformat these partitions to make them available for other uses. Where would I need to move C++ to to keep it working? Would it be easier to uninstall it and reinstall it to where ever Windows thinks it should be? Again I have no idea why it got put where it did.

I'm a little confused as to what exactly you mean with VC++ 2008 (which is an old version of the Microsoft C++ compiler). Are you programming using Visual Studio? If so, try to unplug your external HDD. If you're still able to progam in C++ then this data doesn't belong to the installation.

I don't have Visual Studio installed. The only programing I do is HTML with Microsoft Expression Web 4 but it's installed on my Programs partition. I may have accidently unzipped it there by clicking the wrong folder but I have no idea what program might be using it. What I seem to have are the installation files. Globdata, an install app, and install configuration app, several install.dlls, and a cabinet file.

In that case you won't find it in your installed apps. Press [Windows]+[X], click Programs and Features to figure it out.
