Yahoo Users.

I don't know if it is legal or not....and apparently neither do lawyers. However, since they say they are collecting data....ALL yahoo users should just quit!! Verizon makes no money without users.

Worst email ever. I dumped after a year of using it when I got Verizon as our provider.

 

Is that new? I have been using Verizon for at least 10 years and Yahoo was the email service they offered as customers.

One good thing, Flickr is no longer owned by Yahoo/Verizon/AOL. (Oath is the moniker)

I hated that my Flickr account used the same log in as Yahoo and could not be changed. Perhaps now that SmugMug owns it, I'll be able to change my password, at the very least. I NEVER use the same password at more than one site.

No, I won't drop Yahoo email. I have too many things tied to it. I've had it since 1999 and check it daily.

I spent last week searching for a replacement because I don't want everything to come into gmail. I also don't want to pay for email so the choices of good and free email providers are very limited.

 

I have a proton mail account. I really don't prefer typing in 2 passwords just to check email. My husband and I are in our 70's, we don't have anything that needs guarding that well.

I have an Outlook account too. Sometimes that loads really slow. I know it integrates with Office 365, which I also have no need of.
