Being paralyzed, I rely on the onscreen keyboard accessory in Windows 10. Suddenly, the "hover over key to select" has quit working. I go back to setup and re-select hover over key but it doesn't stick.

    Will someone please help me?

Hi Don and welcome back. I'm sorry to hear you are being hit with another annoying issue. I won't be able to help much, since I neither use W10 nor on-screen keyboard (OSK). At least I can help keep your thread alive until someone more technically joins in. Some generic information will aid anyone who pursues this with you.
Which W10 version and build number is your system on?
How long has this problem been happening?
What, if any, application critical or error (reds) are repeatedly showing up in the event viewer?
Please attach an SFC.txt file, output from Eldon's SFC Utility (run with admin privlege).

Question: Do you have click enabled? You can't have click and hover at the same time.

    Laura,

Yesterday I had started the above topic but inadvertently tried to add an SFC Log, now the thread seems frozen. Will you please delete my log so I can add follow up comments?

    TIA

    Don

Eldon, here is the log from your SFC utility. Perhaps I don't know how to read it but I don't see anything obviously wrong.

Should I attempt to reinstall W10?

Have you tried creating a new user account to see if it works with a new account?

    Double-check the On-Screen Keyboard settings.
