On 5.14.18 there was a Microsoft update "HIDClass - 3.3.207.0". Applying this update caused problems that were fixed when I restored the computer to the state prior to the update.

There are 2 accounts on the computer: administrator & standard user. When the update was applied, the standard user account worked fine, BUT the administrator account had the following problems:
    - all items I had pinned to the task bar were gone
    - Internet Explorer scrollbar no longer worked & nothing happened when I clicked on a link in IE

Did anyone else have these or similar problems?

First I never auto update or accept what MS offers. I also have "recommended" and driver updates to not be offered. I'll take security but don't have use for a lot of the other things that MS wants to put on our computers.

If I don't see much information on something that is offered, I google it and write notes on a monthly update card. Then I decide if I "need" it.
