Help Please. Audio Feedback Issue

HELP. Does anyone know how to make audio adjustments on HP laptop with Windows 10 to stop feedback in headphones and internal speakers?

I was recording and tried making adjustments and now have feedback issues even with my internal mic covered with tape. Does anyone know how to fix the adjustments?

Any assist will be greatly appreciated.

Can you disable the integrated speakers completely? If not perhaps turn the gain (volume) all the way down while recording.

 

I was just about to post to make all aware that I have fixed the problem. If I have an issue when I try to record, I will do as you suggest. Thank you very much for your reply and have a great holiday weekend. Gratefully. Barryzell

I am glad you fix your problem but you didn't say how! That does not help anyone else!

What did you do to fix the problem?

 

I'm sorry about that. I believe I accidently deleted one of more drivers so I reinstalled updated drivers and that took care of the problem. My apology for not posting that fix Sir.
