Oh no, we're having biltong & dry wors for appetizers, grilled lamb chops, boerewors & potatoes, savory rice, sweet potato, a green bean, potato & onion mix, and milk tart and coffee for desert. And beer.
My Mom, who'll be 78 on Friday, still hasn't learnt to drink beer. Any advice/suggestions?

 

It might be a bit simple but I open the can and then I drink it
Of course your mum might be a bit classy for drinking straight out of the can so maybe pour the beer into a chilled glass first then drink
Repeat as often as required
Easy

I still have another six hours to indulge and not feel guilty.
I never feel guilty...

 

Well, sounds like it's going well, have one for me (I only drink at parties, like birthdays, bank holidays, weddings ,and Christmas/new year) Other times I stay off it for few hours....Don't forget to follow joffa's advice,can't leave mum too sober....

My mom used to drink dark sweet beer on Mondays after doing the laundry. She loved it. I forgot the brand name since that was ages ago.
