I have been watching movies a lot lately.Due to the fact there is not much on tv any more.

    But any way.

I was watching Rio Lobo (1970) a john wayne movie. It's a really good movie.

Now i was watching this and saw a really weird light anomaly.I have never seen this be for.And watched this a couple of times.

If you watch the movie.Skip to 55 minuets into the movie.Look at the top of the movie on the right side.

You will see a light anomaly.

I've looked for it several times and cannot find it. :O There's a weird skipping thing where I think the cameraman is falling asleep but that's all I can see XD

I have a really good quality then.

But you are right that version on youtube sucks. The video quality is really bad.

The light anomaly will move front top center to the right really quickly.YouTube videos are normally crappy.

I normally get higher quality video. This is way i can see it.It's still a really good movie to watch. If i could i would upload my better quality video.(edit)The picture is from my higher quality video.

    wile e coyote,
    A few thinks to consider...
The movie is almost 50 years old. Back then the quality of film and camera, and filming techniques, was nowhere near what it is today.
Furthermore, who knows how many times the video was converted from one format to another? Most video, and audio, formats are compressed. Converting compressed formats will inevitably result in unwanted anomalies and artifacts.

I normally covert videos to a higher quality. But never run into them problems.

But if you watch other movies. You can spot stuff.Like for instances in jaws the first film. There is a shooting star in the one scene where they are one the boat.

It's not possible to convert to a higher quality.
Increasing the bitrate, resolution, etc. of the video & audio doesn't increase the quality. ;)

    Look like insects. Perhaps fireflies?

35mm film is only about 4k resolution ;). There were even formats with higher resolution such as 70mm film or Cinerama which used a setup with three 35mm projectors.

I don't know what resolution, film and cameras were used for Rio Lobo.
