Your Microsoft Computer Has Been Blocked Popup

im gettig this popup with trhis message above,and them i get about 4 windows poping up also sayig my pc has been locked by microsoft .

 

TimW - I found this happened in EDGE- , and it froze Edge. I could only shut it down by control/alt/delete, and end task on Edge. No problem in other browsers.

 

Yes, I noticed that if I was quick, I could close it - but I only ever got it using EDGE - No problem, now, but, I thought it worth mentioning as muskyking had asked you about it- and I had come across it ( Edge appears to me to be a little prone to it) Thanks for the suggestion, as I do run malware and virus checks regularly, but I think we (as Geeks, or, tinkerers like me ) are likely to pick up some of these things because we are always looking for something that is out of the ordinary , and old driver searches can be the worst.
