    Greetings,
I'm running 1803 pro on my desktop and I keep on getting notifications from a computer sales company telling me stuff I really don't need to know.
I really would prefer them to not contact me in this way.
Any thoughts as to what I should do?
    Many thanks,
    s.

Popups take many forms. How about a screenshot?

You need a decent ad blocker. I don't use Chrome so can't advise which to try but a bit of googling should resolve that. You could also have a look at Settings > System > Notifications and Actions. If Chrome is listed you could turn notifications off. I've never had a problem with unwanted stuff coming down the notifications route. Hopefully someone who has will chip in.

I was still getting the notifications and then I came across this.

    Which gave me;

Change settings for a specific site
You can allow or block permissions for a specific site. The site will use its settings instead of the default settings.

    1. On your computer, open Chrome .
    2. Go to a website.
    3. To the left of the web address, click the icon you see: Lock https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/L9-ufjZuuR0ma44XqiZ8Zg_JUlR8Kbl1ctaFM52LCu6qv3eppvZV8BVLTDqYHz7mEao=w18-h18, Info https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/KFs3BIAZnJiSLNLUM-A4kiRO0GsRu5pDr1loalhlFF4AzpJwWxRc_orjsv2Y1erXJjs=w18-h18, or Dangerous https://storage.googleapis.com/support-kms-prod/IFnvUSEwUHO4ppdhra3qLp1qTqnrZduuMwft.
    4. Click Site settings.
    5. Change a permission setting. Your changes will automatically save.

Hopefully I will not be bothered by it any more...
    Thanks again.

Good find Stephen. You've thrown some light on an aspect of website behaviour I for one wasn't previously aware of.

I see windows 10 is turning more into spam.

If you want more protection with spam filters.Ublock is good.

I use these in combination Pop up controller,With Ublock.

    I use cyberfox https://cyberfox.8pecxstudios.com/

Cyberfox works really well.Compared to firefox.

I finally got infected with a ransomware the other day lol.Took over 17 years.Still removed it.
