I wasn't terribly impressed with the album version of this song, but omg ... the live acoustic solo Corey did... just... wow. Wow...

I started playing Asphalt 9 a while back and couldn't help but love this song... never heard of her before, but the wifey clued me in she does a lot of music for the Shadow Hunters series. Seems like those TV series and shows are coming out with some of the absolute best music these days...

 

Found this in my 'sound and video backup' folder. I got it 10/10/2008. I know what I was doing 10 years later, 10/10/2018..........picking up the shatters after hurricane Michael came thru.

 

I have a brother losing the fight to ALS. I wonder what goes thru the mind when one knows the end is inevitable, but then again I guess it is inevitable for all of us.

There's talk now of video games influencing life for some. There was always talk of music influences. Remember the talk about rock and roll lyrics played backwards had satanic verses in them?

Well, sometimes life influences music. A lot of street life comes out in music. Here's one story.....just some mild language, nothing horrible....

I just stumbled onto this as a recommended song from You Tube and although I am familiar with Swanee, couldn't remember previously hearing it......


BTW John Swan aka "Swanee" is Jimmy Barnes brother and Jimmy Barnes was the singer for iconic Aussie band Cold Chisel and is now a solo artist.
