Horrible Accident

This must be one of the worst limo accidents ever. Twenty people, of whom 18 were in the limo, are dead.
The scene of the accident leaves one lost for words.

Crikey......what a tragedy......it amazes me how everyone in the limo died
Doesn't the limo have seat belts and air bags to protect the passengers in case of accidents
Jeeez....18 people in the limo sounds overloaded so maybe they should have used a mini bus instead

 

I doubt it. Some even have a Jacuzzi!

They had been visiting local wineries.....I wonder if the driver had been sampling the wine as well .......I guess the coroner will do a BAC if they can be sure who was driving

It was a 2001 Ford Excursion SUV so wouldn't have much safety equipment and it could have had a 6.8l V10 motor. To fit 18 people it must have been REALLY stretched which would have reduced the vehicles torsional strength and also reduced its roadholding ability

With all due respect to the victims and their families...

Using the heaviest SUV as a basis for a stretch limousine is madness.
Safety equipment and driver aids cannot overcome the laws of physics.

This death trap had the road holding and handling of Rosie O'Donnell in Swan Lake.
Add an irresponsible driver...
