    Hello again,
It has been a long time since I have played around with making websites :)- The days of freenetname.co.uk)
and I have forgotten most of the html codes not to mention the html5 stuff which I never knew.
I was asked if I knew how to put a website together and I thought the best place to get an answer would be the majorgeeks forum.
On googling I came across Wix which I know nothing about.

Any thoughts or direction would be greatly appreciated.
    Best wishes,
    s.

Wix is an online web creation site. Is that what you or the person that asked you want? Major Geeks offers web creation tools that are local instead of online.

Unfortunately, it's been 14 years since I've needed to create a website so, I couldn't be much help there.

I was also big in web-site creation in the late 90's. (Or at least I thought I was.) I would be more happy to create a local site and then upload it but I have been so out of touch with these procedures that I thought I would ask for help. The Neighbour is starting a business creating wooded sheds.
    Best wishes,

Sorry, I had to resurrect this thread. I was looking for additional information regarding the Rocketcake and Coffeecup and only this thread came up. Have you been able to try those two? I am planning to create a website using the hPage website builder (https://www.hpage.com). I have already created the account but no content yet. Apparently they have the option to use HTML codes when it comes to writing webpages. I was just wondering if any of these two resources or both of them are able to integrate with a website builder's code editor? I would appreciate any info about it before I download them.

Just trying to help a fellow member... :)

Depending on your needs, I suggest you also look at NetObjects Fusion - link in post 4.
    And GrafX Website Studio.
