Web Hosting Thoughts

Hi guys & girls,

I have a very small, local website that is used to advertise Self defence Classes.
The club isn't doing well at the moment (financially), but that's not why we opened it.
(We, me and my instructor who's 86)
The club will never be profitable, and we do not intend to have more than 10 students.
It's a hobby.

The website itself is (30MB total), basic php. we have a domain name (co.uk).
It gets around maybe 1-2 hits a day, if I'm lucky.

The website is currently on byet host (free hosting) but the servers are always slow / down. Not to mention they add some strange scripts to your pages so it will never be w3C validated. No SSL (but I don't think we need it?), But hey, it's free.

I've looked at paid hosting, but I'm not sure it is worth it considering the size / usage of the website.

Can anyone recommend another good free host website, or any ideas?

I really appreciate your help / ideas.

where is your domain name registered?
i have not looked into this for quite some time,
but some registrars do/did offer deals or a couple of pages free.

 

I registered the domain name with 123-reg.
They do have a "website builder" but its only from basic templates.
Doesn't look like you can do much with it sadly.
