Wifi Name Don't Show Up

Wifi name doesn't show up but on my other devices it do I have contact comcast and windows support but they could not fix it please help me fix it .

 

1. Do any other networks (such as your neighbors') show up on the choice of wireless networks? If no networks come up at all, check Device Manager - are the drivers for the WiFi card installed? If not you can either connect using an Ethernet cable (if your PC has a plug for one) or attempt to download them onto a USB drive form a PC that will connect.
2. You can always buy a WiFi adapter that runs on a USB port. If all you're doing is email and Youtube, an N150 speed should be fine. You can find these at major retailers (Fry's, Office Depot, etc.) or on Amazon for as low as $10.

My neighbors Wi-Fi show and on my other laptop and other devices my wifi show but it will not show for my new laptop .

What do to be filled by oem mean after running WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER in CMD with admin and without admin ?

 

Have you turned off your router and then turned it back on?

Yes I try to unplug it and than plug it back in and resest it .

 

My thoughts for what's it worth would point you to a wifi dongle 811n type.
I think the router transmission is not being picked up by the wifi driver.
Of course you could update your wifi driver...

It pick up my 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi but not my 5GHZ on my other devices it pick up both.

And I cant get my serial number in CMD with admin or without admin when I try it say this To be filled by oem how can I fix that ?

 

I will send it back and get a refund .
