I decided to check my email addresses after reading this...
"The 773 Million Record "Collection #1" Data Breach"

The Hasso Plattner Institute is probably not well known outside of Germany.

Hey thats a pretty cool database tool, never seen that one before!
Interesting domain [uni-potsdam.de] which would suggest a University study by security geeks.

Although no test is ever complete, this is a worthwhile project that will only develop over time.
Even my spam mail addy passed ;)

A few years ago when the company was still using Adobe products (Acrobat Professional and InDesign) we used to get a lot of SPAM emails but then we stopped using Acrobat for PDFs because it became too expensive for 15 licences and the same with InDesign with two licences. Now only one copy of InDesign is being used on a Mac Pro and the SPAM has decreased significantly as all except one Adobe account has lapsed. The only Adobe account survivor is on the Mac Pro and this computer is not linked to our usual mail domain that is used for all other staff .........junk mail problem solved 3 years ago....... by accident

2 of mine were compromised. One was my MG one from back when the old forum got hacked. I only use that for here and had changed the password when it happened. The other was my one I use for online stuff...also not a shock. I have changed the password before, but did it again today. None of my passwords were in there though, so that's good.

Turns out both of the ones I use regularly were leaked, but it only affected passwords (which I change frequently) and in the case of MG, also my birthdate. Whatever.

One of mine was leaked through MajorGeeks but since I change passwords, nothing was lost, including control of the email account.
