Asus A68hm-plus Ram

I just bought a pair of 2133 Mhz sticks for this and, according to Asus, this motherboard supports 2 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 1866*/2400(O.C.)/2133/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory, however the bios only appears to go to 1600. NB. I upgraded to the latest.
I have seen something for another Asus motherboard that recommends setting the Ai overclock tuner setting to XMP.
I am not so clued up on this area of bios. Any advice gratefully received.

 

Install HWiNFO and look at the RAM speed.

That only shows the current Ram speed. Perhaps I wasn't clear. The new Ram is not being recognised, but it is the correct type

So where is the link to this BIOS? Not on that page, plus I said in my original post I upgraded to latest. I am not seeing an Ai Overclock tuner option

It says it uses D.O.CP TO CONTROL Overclock...… Just a different name (Although did see a reference to A1 SUITE 3.....)

Unfortunately, I did not look at your profile - but, having done so, realize that you probably have had a bad day, or, two.
I would have thought, with your experience that in your manual, page 2.5 Ai Tweaker menu would make sense.....

The problem might not be BIOS-related. Have a look at the CPU's FSB.
